KYND

As the UX/UI designer within a product team, we led workshops with key stakeholders to define user needs and refine the platform’s structure. I was responsible for creating and iterating on designs, developing reusable components, and ensuring a smooth handover to development.

KYND needed a seamless and intuitive platform that could communicate complex cyber risk insights to users with varying levels of technical knowledge. The challenge was to design a system that was both highly functional and easy to navigate while ensuring consistency across multiple devices.

The project began with on-site workshops in London, where we worked closely with KYND’s team to establish clear objectives and individual persona objectives. From there, designs were developed in Figma, reviewed using prototypes, and handed over to the engineering team. We focused on designing scalable components for desktop, tablet, and mobile, all of which were integrated into KYND’s growing design system.

The final designs provided a streamlined user experience that made complex cyber risk data more accessible. By implementing a structured design system with reusable components, the platform became more cohesive, adaptable, and scalable for future iterations.

Work was delivered in iterative sprints, incorporating user feedback at every stage to refine the experience. The new design system improved efficiency across the platform, and usability testing confirmed that users could access key information more quickly and intuitively.

Strong collaboration with stakeholders and a structured design process were crucial in delivering a successful product. By prioritising scalability and consistency, the KYND platform was able to evolve efficiently while maintaining a seamless user experience.
